Got Poems?
« on: June 23, 2007, 09:52:32 am »
I have formed a new Livejournal community to post my latest poetry work in progress, Tagesbuch (Diary.)  I had long wanted to start an online poetry magazine.

For anyone who is interested in poetry you may be interested to take a look, and maybe I can revive the idea.

Please feel free to join the community - I will be updating 'Tagesbuch' as well as loading others of my rather extensive collection of poems from my website, Zebratta, in the ensuing months as I branch out from editing and writing my Greenlea stories.
“Mr. Coyote always gets me good, boy,”  Ellery said, winking.  “Almost forgot what life was like before I got me my own personal coyote.”

I spent a lot of time yesterday (since I had the time) working on the format of the poem pages.  Unfortunately LJ only takes up to a certain size and I thought it cumbersome to put one poem each on a single page so I have the following of my poems digitized:

http://community.livejournal.com/zebratta_poems/443.html  "Tagesbuch" (Diary) - work in progress
http://community.livejournal.com/zebratta_poems/2764.html  "Romances for String"
http://community.livejournal.com/zebratta_poems/940.html  "Romances for String: the Second Romance"

comments are welcome.

If you have poems that you would like to share please feel free to comment in this thread, and perhaps compile them in the same way to add to the Zebratta poem community.

Hi,

Lib emailed yesterday requesting some genealogy info.  I was searching for a file I had uploaded to the internet years ago.  I was googling "Van Hine" when I found you on this site.

From what I am reading you were in NE recently. I'm guessing that your difficult times have smoothed out since you did not contact any of your NE relatives.  I'm glad you have overcome the fear  that prevented you from taking me up on my invite to NH, of entering the north east.

Also, from what I read, you are working in GB now.  I hope all is going well. Lots of excitement 'round here as A heads off to a new school (she is a sophomore). You became a grandmother before Liz, but not by much. And I'm nearly done my M.ED.  But who really cares.

The poetry doesn't surprise me, but the erotic fan fic is not what I would have expected. :o I did not know you knew so much about gay cowboys, but then I haven't seen you in 18 years so what do I know?

Best of Luck,
your NH sister

yes, things are going better for me.  Thank you for the good wishes, and I am glad you and Amealia are still progressing education-wise.
