I checked out the website Jeff.

Apparently I live in the Barrony of Sternfeld, in the region of Constellation which is located in the Middle Kingdom. That's interesting. It's also a very interesting website. Thanks for posting it!  :D

You bet!  ;D

Interesting. Here in the East Kingdom, the regions have much more mundane names: Northern, Southern, and so forth.

Sometimes it pays to complain (see below).

I just spoke by telephone with Amtrak's Customer Relations department.

Because of what happened when I took the train from Philadelphia to Boston on my way to Provincetown, Amtrak is sending me a travel voucher equal to the cost of the ticket from Philadelphia to Boston.  :D

Well, I made it back home all right. Back to the grindstone in the morning.  :-\

Amtrak will be hearing from me.  >:( The train that was supposed to get me into Boston an hour and a half before the boat sailed for Provincetown last Wednesday was two hours late because of bum equipment--bad traction motor on the locomotive (I heard two crew members talking about it).

So Amtrak screwed me and I missed the boat. Headed over to the bus station to see about getting a bus to P'town. Screwed again. That late train also made me miss the bus that connected at Hyannis for P'town. Would have had to sit in Hyannis till 8:30 that evening to get a bus (it was only 3:00 in the afternoon).

So I had to head out to the airport and fly over to P'town via Cape Air.

So I got to P'town only two hours later than expected--thanks, Cape Air--but Amtrak is going to hear from me.  >:(

Hi guys!

I am gonna be away from tomorrow until the 25/26th of August! I am staying in Holland, my boyfriend and I are joining my sister and her son and daughter in the north of Holland near the coast. Do some anti-raindances for us! I won't have access to the internet...  :-*

I will be away from 8/19 through 8/26/07.  Catch up with y'all then.  Meantime, find Tru with any Safe Haven issues.

Have fun Scott and Mel!  :)

Thank you! I'm checking back in! We had a wonderful but pretty exhausting week. We cycled home this morning, 45 kilometers in under 2,5 hours!
