Warnings given for adult language, rare brief nudity (suitable for European broadcasters but wouldn't pass the USA's FCC), and potentially politically incorrect material.  But it's funny nonetheless....

This will be most familiar to folks from Great Britain, but a good deal of it will be amusing to others as well.

What makes most of this amusing is that most of the material is real!  We start with two incredibly unsuccessful interviews for Channel Television.  One could be a relative of Ennis Del Mar - see if you can understand him.  The other is a rather perturbed pensioner.

Ads Infinitum - Airlines

Missing the first few minutes, this one jumps in with a closet case trying to condemn homosexuality... then the world of airlines.

But then I’ve always been the type to put anything in my mouth. . . gravel, Doan’s Pills, Playdough, model car glue.  None of ‘em tasted good, but I kept trying.  The worst was when I thought I’d found where my grandmother hid the gum and chewed a couple of pieces of Feenamint.  That was NOT pretty.

Did you eat school paste when you were little?

I did!

I also sniffed the purple ink on the tests and quizzes. Remember that?  :D

The Ditto Master! Sniffing a freshly printed sheet always provided just enough of a buzz to make you forget anything you memorized for the test!

There was always Play-doh to chew on as well.  I have several more of these to upload, but have been busy the last day or so.  For those waxing nostalgic, be sure to also check the Wonderful World of the Media thread.

This also seems to be a good companion with our other media-related threads in The Culture Tent....
