Love me some Hedwig.  I saw the London production with Michael Cerveris in 2000.  Thought the adaptation into a film was so well done.  I'll be on the lookout for Nick, rt.

Hi Kirk,

Wasn't Michael great in the role too?  If you ever can see Nick, he's like a human tornado up there, so emotional and funny and tender and razor-sharp and such a great rock and roll presence, blows you away when he morphs into Tommy Gnosis for the reprise of Wicked Little Town, used to get applause everytime he would reach up to the sky with his fist standing high amidst the smoke and the band upstage.  Will never forget it.

OMG!  I met John Cameron Mitchell tonight!  He was at the next table to ours in Ptown tonight.

We got up the nerve to say hello to him and tell him how much we loved his work.  I had seen him in the late 90s as Hedwig at the Jane Street Theatre. And also just last year, when he did a small tour to fund the care for his mother with dementia.

Anyway, he was gracious and lovely and I'm still star-struck!

Must be nice to be able to dine IN a restaurant.  :(

I think it's only the third time I've done so, but only outside.

The Mews got permission to build a deck just outside their dining room, right on the beach with views of the harbor.  Lovely.

That does sound very nice.
