I'm honestly not sure. I'm ambivalent about it - I'd certainly rather see Jake in more serious and worthwhile films, and ones that do not require him to put his various bulges quite as much and consistently on display.

Then again, if it's a fun romp with much half-naked derring-do in someone's fantasy vision of ancient Persia, where's the harm in enjoying it?

I'm on the same page as you Mikaela. Maybe I can take my oldest daughter to go see it.

I was very ambivalent about Heath as the joker and was certain wild horses would not drag me out to watch it. I am glad I did and I suspect it will be the same with Jake in The P.O.P. The popular vote may swing me over to "the dark side" That and some gratuitous body baring. Once shallow always shallow.

And thank god I'm not dying to see this movie. I just read on imdb that the releasedate for Belgium is June 30th, 2010!  


I'm really looking forward to Brothers, not long to wait for that one, it's scheduled for October this year.
