I've been feeding my local birds, with seed, stale chips and bread, crumbling it up small, so the local stray cats and dogs don't get to all of it.

I dumped some crushed chips out there early this evening and just now, as I went to shut my miniblinds, I looked out and saw a possum happily munching away.  ;D

Next thing I knew, I was feeding all the critters out there ....

I bet your possum was very happy. :)

New math: One cat with claws + one plastic bag filled with shredded documents = mess in the dining room and one angry mother.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Hopefully the mess was contained in one room.  Bet the cat had fun.  :)

Oh, I can imagine the mess.
For a while, my Cäsar liked to kill rolls of toilet paper. He shredded them himself.
Maybe I should get him a job in some office? ;)

What does it say about my cat, when not showing up at the dinner table is reason for alarm? ::)
The little guy is such a greedy chowhound that I knew something wasn't right when he didn't show up in the kitchen last night at dinner (our dinner, that is). Indeed one of the kids had accidently locked him into the bathroom.

I took these last summer. I don't think I've posted any of them yet.

The raccoons come up to the deck each evening looking for food. I always leave something out for them. At first they were fairly skitterish, but now they will jump up in my lap if I'm sitting outside when they come. It's awfully cold outside now though, so I haven't been doing it lately. If I am late to take food out to them they will paw at the windows....
