I have not heard about any auctions of Casanova memorabilia (the movie wasn't that big of a hit!) so who knows where the mask is!

I found this little news tidbit in a Brisbane, Australia, paper, dated April 7:

A NEW DIRECTION

Heath Ledger made his directorial debut at the Ben Harper concert at the Enmore Theatre on Wednesday night. Harper told the crowd Ledger had shot the footage he uses as the backdrop of his concert. Meanwhile, over at Ledger's old Bronte digs, yet more building work is going on, just months after Ledger spent millions renovating the multi-levelled home, installing paparazzi-proof window tinting but sadly never enjoying his time there because he was too hassled by the paps.

LN note: I thought he sold the beach house in Bronte back in the early part of 2006?

Don't know Leslie. But this - "after Ledger spent millions renovating the multi-levelled home" - makes me cringe. Even if it's Heath. Spending millions on a house is just crazy! .. imho..

I remember hearing that he had spent millions to renovate it, putting in privacy glass, a home theater/studio, etc. The plan was that he and Michelle were going to spend 6 mo/yr in Australia, then 6 mo/yr in the US. However, after the water gun incident at one of the BBM premieres, he cried all night and put the house on the market the next day. I remember reading the house listing and looking at the pictures. I believe it was for sale for $6 million and I thought it sold pretty quick. Also, the original renovation work was done in 2005 so I would not call that "just months ago."
