we both agreed it was worth the sixteen bucks.  :)

Apiece?? Whoa! You'd practically save money flying to Chicago to see it at a matinee.

The trailer on YouTube, just in case we need to keep finding locations of it.

We both liked "I Am Legend," mostly because we had a great time identifying all the New York locations and seeing how they'd made them look decayed and abandoned.  Very impressive!

Oh, that would have been fun to see and comment on  - especially with you two!  :)

Good point, Mika!  [Sigh...Elle feels sorry for herself that her NY Meryl/John plans keep falling through....]

  I hardly think of Chicago as being inexpensive either!

Yep, that was $16 each.  Even non-IMAX movies are up to $10.75 now. ::)

Clarissa and Mika, any time you want to plan a hoot in NYC, just let me know.  I like RouxB's idea of a bunch of us getting together to see "The Dark Knight" premiere.  Keep it in thought.  :-*

I know! Oh, but I forgot about the I-MAX part. That makes a difference.

My regular theater is in Oak Park, which is just outside Chicago's western border. Adult non-IMAX tickets after 6 p.m. are $8 (though I usually see matinees, $5.50).

Thanks for the report about your IMAX experience, Meryl.    I have watched the trailer online and I am so excited for Heath.  I think he is fantastic!  He is a chameleon and I have no doubt that he is very grounded and calculating when it comes to what film choices he makes.  He is not in it for the money he is a serious actor who loves what he does and makes movies for the challenge.  He said he figured out in 5 seconds how he was going to approach doing the Joker. Chris Nolan had faith in him and left him alone to figure it all out.  And Heath didn't disappoint!     If I can get this excited from a trailer then imagine what it will be like when we see the entire movie!

I would love to see it with other fans.
