I still can't get over the coincidence of this nomination happening on this day, of all days.  It most certainly is incredibly bittersweet.

Thank you for all the wonderful pictures Friends  :-*

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Damn Chuck, that beautiful poem really got to me.  :'( I've read it before of course, but how poignant it still is.

The homepage looks beautiful today.

Do you guys know who did the image?

I'm starting my film fest this morning with I'm Not There.  (Planning to watch I'm Not There, The Dark Knight, and Brokeback Mountain.)  I've had the DVD ever since it came out, but I only took the plastic off this morning.  So, things I hadn't realized - it's a two disc set.  Heath's image, as Robbie, is the cover on the 2nd disc.  There is a special feature called "A Tribue to Heath Ledger" that is a beautiful collection of his scenes (I think some that weren't in the movie).  The 'Red Carpet Premiere' feature also has a brief interview with him...

Sigh.

Lauragigs did the photos. They're fantastic aren't they?

And thanks for the info on I'm Not There. I haven't bought the dvd yet, but I might reconsider because there's a tribute to Heath on the dvd. I thought Heath was really good as Robbie.

My husband and I watched Ned Kelly on monday (with the 'tremendous hair and beard' according to Mikaela  ;)). We both really liked it, Heath's performance was a bit oneven at times I thought, like he was struggling with the Irish accent a bit, but overall a really enjoyable movie to watch.
