Good morning Heathens :)

Love the man, love the cap, love my oldest for choosing almost the same cap in a shop - and for sharing it with me ;D.

Love silly BG pic!! Also the hat one... I just saw a recent picture of Matilda in a purple knit cap like he used to wear.  Actually, it looks just like the one she's wearing in the picture when she's on his shoulders.  I don't know how little kids work, so that may not be possible... buuut yeah, it's late, I'm rambling... I'll end the hat analysis now.  Thanks for the pictures!

The castle looked so familiar to me, I had the feeling I've been there before. So I went googling - and I was right!
It's Bodiam Castle in East Sussex and I was there in the early or mid 90-ies :D.
My family will spend the second half of our family vacation this summer in that area. Maybe we'll go and visit it again 8).

Well you can't go wrong with me and a little bit of AKT Heath. The blond tousled look is right up there. One day I really need to start acting my age. It is becomming unseemly to have a crush on a man the age Heath was in AKT. The problem is it just pushes all the right buttons for me.

Looks like Jake is sitting in Rodrigo's chair.

Who's "Bison #1"?

Weren't they there in June?  It looks like it was raining a lot, more than is evident in the film.

Just adorable.  Thanks, Chrissi, I love the behind-the-scenes ones.

Who's "Bison #1"?

That's what I asked myself, too!

Maybe the elk shooting scene had originally been planned as bison shooting scene? But the bison/actor didn't fit into the chair, and additionally was pi§§ed because he wanted to be referred to with the PC term of "buffalo". Thus Ang took an elk ;D  ;).
How lucky for all of us! Had they shot a buffalo instead, the wonderfully poetic subtitle of "caress and nice oak" would never have been made. Now that would have been a shame!

 ;D
