Re ham and other pork products - when I was a little girl growing up in NYC and going to the realest delis there were, weren't no pork products served at them.  So I went and looked at the Carnegie Deli website, and hunh - they serve bacon, ham, the whole megillah now.  Even cheese burgers, and shrimp salad.  I'm partly disappointed (and shocked).  Was it a pragmatic decision on the restaurant's part, or an ecumenical one (a nice spin on it)?
