OT: what is it with Jake and nasty looking blondes??

I just had to steal this story from jakewatch (thanks to britpopbaby!)

Jake is now rumored to be with olympic snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler... here is a picture

probably just gossip, but he has been spotted in her home town and someone on imdb a while ago said she met Jake at her cousin Gretchen's party... who knows if they are rumors, and an even better question, who knows why I am helping to spread them LOL (insanity, obsession maybe??)  Just thought some of you might be interested...

BECAUSE HE HASN"T MET YOU YET!!!!  ::) That's why!   At least this is a REAL girl and not some self absorb starlet!  Opens the door wider for you other REAL girls.. :D.

Because I am curious about *cough* obsessed with Jake, I had to sniff this out.

The story is false.  E's "Top 10 Daily Stories"  debunked it last night - the host said something like "Sorry folks but this one ain't happening.  Our sources tell us this is absolutely not true - they are not a couple - Gretchen Bleier has a serious boyfriend."  SNAP!

This particular show on E that debunked the rumor is HOSTED by an ESPN guy, Sal Masekela, that also HOSTS ESPN's X-Games, and the snowboarding chick and her REAL boyfriend, snowboarder Chris Hotell, both participate in the X-Games.  The ESPN guy is apparently friends with her and her b-f - he probably called them up himself and quashed this story.
