Aww, Jack. Life and love can be so complicated while our needs are so simple.

((Jack)))

Sending lots of hugs and love

That reminded me of this song

Stay
Sugarland
i been sittin' here staring
at the clock on the wall
and i been layin here praying
praying she won't call
it's just another call from home
and you'll get it and be gone
and i'll be crying
and i'll be beggin you baby
beg you not to leave
but i'll be left here waiting
with my heart on my sleeve
oh for the next time we'll be here
seems like a million years
and i think i'm dying

what do i have to do to make you see
she can't love you like me

why dont you stay
im down on my knees
im so tired of being lonely
don't i give you what you need
when she calls you will go
there is one thing you should know
we dont have to live this way
baby why dont you stay

you keep telling me baby
there will come a time
when you will leave her arms
and forever be in mine
but i don't think that's the truth
and i don't like being used
and i'm tired of waiting
it's too much pain to have to bare
to love a man you have to share

why dont you stay
im down on my knees
im so tired of being lonely
don't i give you what you need
when she calls you will go
there is one thing you should know
we dont have to live this way
baby why dont you stay

i can't take it any longer
but my will is getting stronger
and i think i know just what i have to do
i can't waste another minute
after all that i've put in it
i've given you my best
why does she get the best of you
so the next time you find
you wanna leave her bed for mine

why dont you stay
im up off my knees
im so tired of being lonely
you cant give me what i need
when she begs you not to go
there is one thing you should know
i dont have to live this way
baby why dont you stay

Richard, you sure hit the nail on the head!!! That is an absolutely wonderful song and believe it or not is one of his favorites too. In fact while we talked he wanted to listen to that song over and over again. It truly makes you wonder what is going on in someone's mind in that part they never seem to be able to share with you completely.

I know how hard it is Jack.
You know my situation. It hurts like hell to love someone so far away that you know will never be yours.
You are a great guy. I hate you are going through all the pain. Just know your not alone if that helps.

Yes it helps tremendously Richard to know that you are not alone. Life can be a hard thing, but with people there to help us along we will make it. Thanks Richard, what you said means a lot.

I have discovered a great radio station that seems to play a wide variety of music and I have heard songs that I had forgot even existed. It's not like one of those oldies stations, or classic rock stations, or 80s stations, 90s stations, etc. where you hear songs that have been played at least a million times. It is actually a station from Denver that also broadcasts live on the internet as most radio stations do these days. It is 99.5 FM, The Mountain, Denver's Album Rock. Are any of you from Denver familiar with it?

It's not a country station, but I can suggest a couple of those too that I often listen to. There is 95.7, The Wolf, San Francisco and 99.5, The Wolf, Dallas. If any of you who were at the rodeo in SF might remember 95.7 had a booth set up there. These are both great stations and again you can listen to either one on the internet.

Ok, well this day is getting stranger. It is very slow here at work today. The building I work in has an auditorium and earlier this morning all these snacks appared out in the lobby. Next some tshirts appeared. Now the whole lobby as well as outside of the building is full of very small girls in purple tutus and pink ballet slippers. I thought at first some kind of Brokie gathering might be taking place that I didn't know about  ;D

I'm glad Jack.
I may not be there, but I'm here for ya!
We need to stick together to get through this life.
It's a long road alone as Dierks says.
It's good to have friends who understand. ;)
