Indiana Man Gets Stuck In Chimney
« on: September 23, 2007, 08:50:25 pm »
I posted this on my blog, but hardly anyone reads it, and I figured some of you might like to hear about this!  :D

Indiana is a crazy place to live, and once again we have some wild and whacky news coming out of the Hoosier state. A man gets stuck in the chimney while trying to enter his girlfriend's house after she locked him out.

I felt kind of sorry for him when she pelted him with the beer bottles, but maybe he had it coming. I don't know.  :-\

I had to do this once. I didn't go down the chimney, but I almost had to. I locked myself out of my house I was renting just before I moved to Speedway. All the doors and windows were locked on the ground floor, and I had to climb a tree, shimmy across a branch and then drop down on the roof three floors up. Thankfully I left one of the attic windows unlocked up there or I would have had to go down the chimney.

A few hours later I found my house keys in the glove box of my car. I forgot I had put them in there so the whole thing was for nothing.  >:(

Another time I thought I saw a cat on my roof, and I climbed up a ladder to rescue it. The ladder got knocked over, and after sitting up there on that damn roof for probably an hour, I ended up busting out one of the bedroom windows and climbing in. I never saw the cat again once I got up there either!

Anyone else have some roof stories?  :D

   ... could only happen in America!!  ::) ::)  You wouldn't catch anyone in Britain doing anything as daft as that!!  ;D.    :(I can't think of anything really stupid that I've done (probably blanked them out) but I'll have a little think about it!

I feel ya Susie! I know exactly what you're talking about!!!

I used to stand in front of the bathroom mirror and fantasize I was Eartha Kitt. I'd hold a coke bottle or a brush in my hand and sometimes my sister would walk in on me.   :o  :P

That was VERY embarrassing!

Goodness gracious, that poor misguided man should be running as fast as he can away from that house, not trying to get into it!  :-\
