The conservative commentator obviously does not know the history of the Luke and Noah storyline on As The World Turns. Since Noah and Luke have been an official couple on the show, the show's ratings have boosted from 7th to 3rd place. That's a lot of people to say they're "pushing an agenda".

Parts 141 and 142 of the Luke and Noah storyline on As The World Turns, which sadly looks like it's coming to an end soon.  Martha Byrne, who plays Lily Snyder, will be leaving the show after being on ATWT for 23 years.  I can't even talk about it...

What this show is doing to these two beautiful characters has thousands of people tearing their hair out and trying to do everything in their power to stop it! It's amazing how much smoother things were going without the writers! The writers come back and they character assassinate Vienna, whose relationship with Henry was the second adorable thing on the program. Now they're going after Noah and Luke too, and otherwise drastically changing a program against the desires of its audience. The show has had very low ratings in the past, and I fear it is only more likely that whatever is going on will increase that slump. Noah and Luke, Martha Byrne as Lily Snyder, and Vienna and Henry's incredibly romantic and humorous relationship were some of the best things going for it.

To be quite honest, I'm a bit worried about the future of Van (and/or Jake) in light of all the media attention the fans are generating now.  I'm selfish, I hope to see Van stay on the show and that what his fans are doing has no negative effect on him.

Well let me put it this way...

Van and Jake have been kissing for the camera, a number of times, and only two of those have been shown. Now I'm certain that they are great friends, but they're straight, so that can't be the most comfortable thing in the world for them to do. And since the kisses then aren't shown, they're kissing for.... (drum roll please).... no one. That's the most awkward thing about this whole "no kissing" curse.

A lot of people have been upset that there was not a kiss when Noah finally told Luke the three magic words that most people have been begging to hear for some time now. But the embrace that followed was perfectly exquisite. There are some days when an embrace does so much more than a kiss.

Daniel, I saw the thread you started on vh.net.  Is the title a joke?  You should have been there long enough to know that Noah is beyond criticism there, what you said in your post was perfectly in line with the majority of the members there. 

Anyway, I have never been really disappointed with this storyline or have problem with the character, Noah, but today's episode finally did it.  I hope it'll get better soon, otherwise, I hope Luke will ditch him and have another person - hmmm, maybe Matt?

Part 147 of the rollercoaster Luke and Noah storyline on As The World Turns. If this is the way they treat all relationships, no wonder there's so much "cheating" and love polygons on soap operas. Van Hansis's acting is phenomenal though. Okay enough of that, on with the show.
