Wow Chuckie I can relate to those sentiments. I have been there and felt that way many times. It is a question that has no answer.

I've also been on the other end of such attraction and can tell you those couple of times I really felt bad. It leaves me questioning myself about my motives, standards and hang ups. I am afraid I didn;t handle them too well.

That reminds me of this song:

Just the other night a hometown football game
My wife nd I ran into my old high school flame
And as I introduced them the past came back to me
And I couldn't help but think of the way things used to be

She was the one that I'd wanted for all times
And each night I'd spend prayin' that God would make her mine
And if he'd only grant me this wish I wished back then
I'd never ask for anything again

Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when you're talkin' to the man upstairs
That just because he doesn't answer doesn't mean he don't care
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers

She wasn't quite the angel that I remembered in my dreams
And I could tell that time had changed me
Inn her eyes too it seemed
We tried to talk about the old days
There wasn't much we could recall
I guess the Lord knows what he's doin' after all

And as she walked away and I looked at my wife
And then and there I thankedd the good Lord
For the gifts in my life

Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when you're talkin' to the man upstairs
That just because he may not answer doesn't mean he don't care
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers

Some of God's greatest gifts are all too often unanswered...
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers

Last night, I had a dream that I had an infection in my knee, and when the doctors tried to drain it, bugs came crawling out of the wound.

at the moment, ok, thanks for asking.

I'm toying with the idea of that subject being the inspiration to my newest poem.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Twenty-odd years ago or so, there was a famous French movie called "Claire's Knee." Why not a poem called "Chuckie's Knee"?

Not familiar with "Claire's Knee"......as for the poem, that won't be the title.  lmao

I'm tossing some ideas around my head as we "speak".

How about a crippled couplet?
Or a Sciatic sonnet?

"The pain in my heart,
Matches not the pain in my back,
After moving your freezer,
Your big screne, your hot tub,
Radiating down my thigh,
To muscles I have never known.

While down the road you go,
To Walmart, To Target, To Cosco,
Ever more stuff,
To fill your house
Pick me up a movie while your out,
Won;t chu?"
