I'm usually here much earlier, but ooooops....slept through the alarm, and woke up 15 minutes before I had to leave for work!

It's nice to know I'm in good company!

What I was once so sure of
Has abandoned me
Leaving me adrift
Without direction
And no oars

Thanks for the beautiful poem, Chuck. I love "Adrift". But it reminds me that I have abandonment issues. Does everyone have those?

Hiya Shasta!

I think to a certain degree, everyone does.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Good morning BetterMost!

Hope that everyone is having a good day, good week!   It's amost Friday!

and it's been a while since I cleaned this place up.........excuse me.

and here's a little something I wrote on New Year's Eve, last year......untitled.

I wish I could express to you
with words just how I feel
but the words, they seem to fail me
they can't describe what's real

2006 is about to end
and though I should feel tall
the new year makes me anxious
and I find I'm feeling small

There is one thing I'm sure of
it's that I have a big heart
and all of you are in it
you each take up a part

You've made me laugh and smile
you've held me when I cried
caused me to think about so much
you made me feel alive

2007 will bring good things for us
of that, a part of me is sure
but a part of me is still afraid
to walk through the open door

My head keeps me in the clouds
my feet are on the sand
but I'm uneasy on the inside
will you hold my hand

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Has 2007 livied up to your expectations? I know I always start our fired up and ready to get organized and take on the world and usually it lasts a couple of weeks.

Great poem!
2007 has been a big year of change for me. It will always be a major mile marker in my life.

In some ways, yes.

More travel, more socializing, more money, less weight, better health, more positivity.

In other ways, not so.....and while I'm down about that, there are people out there dealing with worse situations, so I try to rise above.

;)

as for "always" above.....that's not true.  there are days I'm definitely under, and gasping for breath.

Careful. He's liable to lay you out in the wild columbine--and tickle you. ...
