Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Just got out of my meeting, and found out I got a treat!

I was given a booklet/package in which to choose a 10 year gift/award.

Found a nice sterling silver ring to get!    ;D

Isn't that funny--I just put in the order for my five-year gift/award this morning. I'm getting a CD player with speakers. Gonna use it in the bedroom.  :)

Good  morning BetterMost!

It's the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!

My poem today is one I wrote to mark the occasion of hitting 30,000 posts on the Dave Cullen Forum.  It was a few months after the Co. gathering, and I was full of the great memories of that trip, and thinking about all the changes I had been through since first seening Brokeback.  I sat at the comp, and this came out.

The day after Christmas, 2005
had just seen a movie, made my mind come alive
two cowboys in love, but could not make it work
gave my mindset a shove, gave my life a strong jerk
could not just go on, letting things be
time to make changes, and start them with me
grow up, shed my skin, leave the past behind
get myself healthy, in body and mind
heal my heart, and mend my soul
trust myself to take chances, and let myself grow
open my mind, so my muse can inspire
let my talent run free, like it was wild fire
start to travel around, new people to see
open myself up, and let them touch me
cry on their shoulders, funny stories to share
I hope they all realize, just how much I care
accept what fate gives me, dealt out from above
celebrate life, take risks to find love
the future is mine, in the palm of my hand
so it's time to go grab it, and I know that I can
so now I move forward, there's no turning back
and it's due to the story of Ennis and Jack

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Hello BetterMost!

Hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying the weekend!  On my way to a brunch with friends, so I'll be away for a bit, but will be back later!

Celestial Sparkle

---------------------------------------------

End of day, and I lay in my bed
Thinking the best that will happen
Is a night’s sleep
Suddenly, I’m surrounded by an aura
Pale green light envelopes me
And I levitate from the bed
And out of the window.
It must be a dream.

I find myself in a room
Surrounded by stainless steel
Or so it appears
With flashing lights, and an audible hum.
And it feels like the entire room is moving
Suddenly, sliding doors open
Revealing my hosts

They stand in front of me
And they make me think of polar opposites
Short in stature, but large in intellect
Skin an iridescent opal, eyes as dark as onyx
The eyes of God? No, but close….very close

They take my hand, and I feel a sense of peace
And they lead me to the main deck
Of their craft
I look out the window and see Earth far below.
I’m surrounded by a beautiful scene
Lights and colors beyond my comprehension
Celestial sparkle laid out
Against an inky backdrop of black
I look back down to Earth and realize
I have left the realm of man
And am now in the realm of God
Beauty beyond compare

One of my hosts approaches me
And touches my inner arm
There is a mild burning sensation
And everything goes black

I wake the next morning
And find myself back in my bed
A dream, it must have been
But what a fantastic dream
Then, I look at my arm and see it
A mark left behind from where my host touched me
A crescent moon
A reminder of my fantastic journey
And that I have experienced something special

Why I was chosen, I don’t know
But I will always be grateful, and never forget it.

Well, here's an experience I had last night at the wedding.

I was approached by one of my friends, he was also the very first person I came out to.  he was  talking to me about some things, and then he mentioned the fact that I had my shirt unbuttoned down two buttons, and was showing off some chest hair, which is something I had never done before.

from there, the conversation took a more serious turn, and I told him that I kinda felt like that I wasn't spending enough time with "the group", and missing out with them, due to the get togethers with the brokies.  He told me that "the group" had mentioned that, and that they didn't see it that way.

They were all very happy that I have met you (and the dcf members), and that I had bonded with people who had some of the same thoughts and issues that I do, that you all could be there for me in ways they couldn't.

He also said that they were watching the changes I've been going through (weight loss, personality, confidence) and were viewng it as my own journey of self growth, and are waiting for the time that I bring that 'special someone' to them to meet.

Went home feeling really good.
