Won eight Oscars:  Best Actor in a Leading Role (Marlon Brando); Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Eva Marie Saint); Best Art Direction-Set Decoration, Black-and-White (Richard Day); Best Cinematography, Black-and-White (Boris Kaufman); Best Director (Elia Kazan); Best Film Editing (Gene Milford); Best Picture (Sam Spiegel); and Best Writing, Story and Screenplay (Budd Schulberg). It was nominated for twelve in all, including three Best Supporting Actors! Leonard Bernstein did the music. #83 on the IMDb top 250 and #19 on the AFI top 100.
