Nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Film but didn't win; did win an Amanda and a Bambi for Best Picture. It tells the story of Hitler's last days in his bunker in Berlin, from the point of view of his secretary.

I know, I seem to be on a Cronenberg kick.  (must be the hospital setting  :D )Why not, he's probably the coolest Canadian we have.  This one won a Genie for Best Direction in '83

Winner of seven Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director. I have seen this movie once. I had to read the book twice, and listen to it on tape before I could steel myself to see it in the theater.
