I hate folding bed linens, especially fitted sheets--but I'm too stupid to make a bed without a fitted sheet. I guess the way to avoid folding bed linens is to have only one pair of sheets. Take 'em off the bed, launder 'em, and put 'em right back on the bed. No folding necessary.

Oh I know, folding a fitted sheet is one of the most absurd things one can attempt.

Thanks to that crazy mother-in-law I had, I know how to fold a fitted sheet.  I'll demonstrate for you sometime.  If you take a new one out of the package very carefully, you can reverse engineer it.

Now, there's a clever thought!  :D

I bet you can do "hospital corners," too.

I can halfways fold them. Of course, there's still one side higher than the other. So I just put them alternating in the closet: one sheet with higher side to the left, next sheet higher side to the right, and so on. Problem solved.
And if the still half crumpled look bothers you, close the closet door very quickly. Ta-da! ;D

Fitted sheets are not very common in Sweden, I only have one.

There's room enough in my closet, so I don't really worry about how it gets folded. I just fold it!    :D

I wonder whether there will be any events in the coming year to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the American Civil War?  ???
