I would say Amy Winehouse is more a British and modern version of Janis Joplin than she is of Anna Nicole Smith. Both talented singers and heroin addicts. The thing is, from what I have read Amy actually enjoys doing drugs. She doesn't seem to see it as a problem. And I believe, Janis didn't either.

I think your right Natali, both of them a raving, talented mess.

Thought for the day:

My neice will be 5 this weekend and has not yet learned to read. I think it would be the perfect opportunity to get rid of this card I have that says "Congradulations on becoming a Citizen of the United States".

Inspite of what the woman at the conveinence store told me, feeding dog food to a cat will not make its fur fall out.

My cat loves dog food, but it is making him fat...So we have started making him eat cat food.  I am sure he has
gained over two pounds...Thats a lot on a cat.  But his hair is fine.!

I've been researching homeschooling.  One homeschooling group, with a sense of humor, I guess, was selling T shirts that said "Homeskooled sinse burth."

Cat food has something in it that is essential to a cat's digestive system. Dog food lacks that ingredient. I don't know if that's true or not, but I've always heard it.  :P  Too tired to look it up right now.

It's more than one thing Shasta - cats need a diet quite different from a dog - and it's important for their overall survival, not just their digestive system.  Cats have to eat meat (true carnivores), dogs do eat meat, but they can actually live without it.  Dogs can make certain amino acids that cats can't.  Cats need to get them from their diet.
It's okay for cats to eat some dog food, as long as it's not the bulk of their diet, just like we can't eat only french fries.

'kay.  public service annoucement from resident veterinarian is over with.
