god knows why, but when I was in 1st grade I stuck a piece of masking tape up my nose ... to impress a boy!!!

(Had I seen him stick something up his nose?  I sure don't remember.  But I panicked for days that the tape would be permanently lost in my brain... I was too embarrassed to tell anyone what I had done... or they could've reassured me that I wouldn't suffer permanent damage, lol...)

I had a great uncle that put a pea in his brothers ear when he was a young boy and his brother was a toddler...the boy died.  :(

(my great uncle was scared to tell what he had done til too late.)

well my uncle thought it caused his brother to die...he tried to pry it out himself but couldn't..the boy got an ear infection that got so bad the infection fed over into his brain...so he died from a brain infection according to the doctor.

they were poor and didn't go to the doctor until the boy was too far gone to help.

I think the real problem with pseudoephedrine is that it can be used to cook crystal meth.  :P

I wonder if you're thinking of that thing that was in some diet drug that they had to take off the market because it caused heart problems? I can't remember what that was called.  ???

Was it Fin-Fin?

I think what you're talking about is Phen-Phen.  It contained Ephredra (not sure that's spelled right) and it caused heart problems.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''

Will you play my record? One-track mind!

That's it, that's what I was trying to think of. It was a combination of Phentermine and Ephedra.

Thanks, Chuck!  :D
