He disagreed with my statement that our ability to love is what eventually saves and protects us.  If we didn't have that ability, we would never survive.  That's all I was saying.

You know I am struck by how I heard this woman say these words, and I scribbled them down on a scrap of paper covered with notes and phone numbers, and how it fell into the ocean of paper in the back seat of my car, for days, in the cold, and today I grabbed it when I was going inside and posted it, started a remarkable dialogue, and learned further what it ment.

Hey Scott, little bit of paradise, ya think?

One of the saddest of all household chores is taking down a Christmas tree.  :(

you could leave it up but decorate it differently for the seasons...

My mother used to take a bare tree branch and make and easter egg tree.

Because of the puppy, we didn't decorate at all, except for Xmas cards, which come down faster than you can blink and eye.  It bothered Rick that we didn't put the tree up and do the whole nine yards, but I was kind of happy, because while I don;t mind putting it up, I hate taking it down.

I don't know....but my knee jerk is yes, domestic violence would be heterosexual assault.
