They are indeed a lovely couple and such delightful family too!!

Well, mariconera, is not what you think it is. That's 'maricón'. Mariconera, at least in Puerto Rico and Spain, refers to a type of purse. Something like this:



It could mean a effeminate gay man in other Spanish speaking countries but not in Puerto Rico or Spain, that I know of.
