What's TAR? My friend likes "Dexter" -- I haven't seen it, but I feel like I have because she felt compelled to tell me ALL about it -- and she's not old. 

TAR is The Amazing Race. I haven't seen Dexter I don't think. What network is that on?

I think it's on HBO--which is one reason I haven't seen it--no HBO.
LOL -- no wonder I couldn't find TAR on IMDb. I found a movie by that name, but not a TV show.

The Amazing Race is great! You have to watch it with us this year!

they pick all these couples, lovers, parent/child, brother/sister...whatever and they have to race around the world...it is very fun!

I've only ever briefly watched Desparate Housewifes, but I saw an advertisement where a new couple moves into the neighborhood. It happens to be a male couple. Could be an interesting twist

I'll check it out. Thanks for letting me know. I remember an older show that had a similiar title, but I didn't think that was it. It seems like from what I remember it was a little like the show that had Steve Erkle (sp) in it.

No I haven't. I don't know much about that show. Has that storyline been going on long? I haven't watched last night's episode yet since I recorded it. Cold Case came on at the same time and that is one of my favorite shows too. Although, none of the episodes of Cold Case have even come close to "Forever Blue" and I doubt that any will.

At TARflies they are all excited. Apparently this was in the variety today!

CBS is singing the blues over “Viva Laughlin,” which has been officially canceled after just two episodes.
Emmy winner “The Amazing Race” will take “Laughlin’s” place in the Sunday 8 p.m. slot - where the reality show resided last year - effective Nov. 4. A repeat “CSI” will run in the time period next week.

Jack, Bri has a gay teenage son. LAST year he had quite a long storyline...he had a boyfriend, he stole his mom's credit card and was just MEAN as he could be.....(he blamed his mom for his dad's death...(then he SLEPT with her boyfriend) 

He is much better this year though...playing a much smaller role.
