I am not sure I even speled his name right, I just heard he died on NPR, he had suffered from diabetes for some time. He was 69

They should have strapped him to a rocket and fired it over the Grand Canyon. That's probably how he would've wanted to go - in a blaze of glory.

It's still good for his estate. Probably knew he was fading fast and wanted to give his heirs a little bit more pocket money.
