Nutmeg Guy, I sympathize with your new hassles. They were already observing those rules in Jackson, WY, when I flew back on Saturday. It's a good thing that's a small airport, because people were holding up the line drinking their liquids so they wouldn't lose their designer water containers!

David, many pages ago you asked me this question, and I didn't forget! The piece is by Kenneth Gaburo, and it's titled INSIDE: A Quartet for One Bass Player. It was written in the '60's and still has an original freshness to it. The performer has to do four things: play the strings, make sounds on the instrument itself, make vocal sounds and create clicking/kissing/trilling sounds, hence the "quartet' description. The sheet music looks practically indecipherable! I thought Skip did a great job with it, and the audience was mesmerized. Here's a pic of him lifted from the video we made:
