"Fans of homoerotic black and white snaps of college boys in their underwear were devastated when Abercrombie & Fitch's magazine, A & F Quarterly, folded in 2003. So much so that vintage copies of the racy style rag now command $95 at esteemed used bookstores—where it's logged under "Gay Studies"—and even more on E-bay. Now, thanks to those pervy Brits, photographer Bruce Weber might just be back in the soft-core porn business:
A & F is being reborn in the UK, where sensibilities are a tad less puritanical and the thirst for scantily clad teen models in jeeps (alternate NSFW samplings after the jump) remains unfettered. God save the Queen!"You do have to scroll halfway down the blog to see an interesting photo. I remember when I first bought the A&F catalog years ago, I got a "cautionary warning" from the lady behind the counter. Do I look like I'm under 21??? The USA is still quite prudish. I guess the UK A&F catalog will pop up on Amazon.com hopefully. Don't know if I will order anything from the catalog as A&F seems geared towards trendy college wear.
By the way, the A&F weren't teenagers as they are college students. I knew someone who coulda done some work for A&F when he was 22, but when he tried at 25, they said he too old.
