I just was on Findingbrokeback.com to check something and was very touched to see that the guys there posted Mouk's beautiful photo on their home page with the following text:

Hey Friend!  Thanks for bringing this over here.  This is certainly nice to know.

No, THANK YOU for doing such a wonderful job in organizing this memorium for Heath so that people in his home town know that he was loved and respected from half way around the world.

Nice to know ya Ennis Del Mar.

And so with that introduction Jack and Ennis are forever bound together like Adam & Eve and Romeo & Juliet.

I'm sorry I have not contributed yet, but the end-of-the-month paycheck is entirely earmarked for the rent, so the last week of the month is always a tight time financially for me. But I intend to chip in when the next check comes.

I was wondering about the possibility about us maybe making a donation in his name to a school or organization in Brooklyn, where Heath chose to settle with his new family (and to where most of us believe he would have returned). I have no specific ideas, it's just a thought.

Hey Verona, please don't feel obligated to contribute if in any way it would be a hardship. No one would want you to do that. If you really want to contribute, please just send a small amount that won't cause any harm to your budget. Your thoughts are enough.  :)

To the organizers: has the decision been made yet about what to do with the balance of donations?

I expect soon we'll hear from Peachy about whether the family is accepting flowers for the funeral.  If so, then she'll send a bouquet and let us know how it went.  If she can't send the bouquet, then we can send all the remaining money to a cause that Heath supported.  I'm still hoping maybe the family will mention some specific charities where donations will be welcomed.  We'll see.

I definitely want to contribute! It was just bad timing.  :-\ The week leading up to rent time is lean and mean.
