Meryl and Peachy, thank you so much for arranging this, and thanks to Kerry for checking the information.  I'm glad we'll be able to send the flowers.

Wouldn't it be great and meaningful to post a page or a half-page condolence from Bettermostians in the AU local paper ?

Here's one more thank-you, to Chris (BBM-Cat), who put forward the idea for the condolence notice in the second post on this thread!  :)  8)

Hey Verona, please don't feel obligated to contribute if in any way it would be a hardship. No one would want you to do that. If you really want to contribute, please just send a small amount that won't cause any harm to your budget. Your thoughts are enough.  :)

To the organizers: has the decision been made yet about what to do with the balance of donations?

Thankyou Kerry, meryl, peachy for all the info.

Verona, I like your idea - perhaps we could donate a third to to a local Brooklyn kids organisation or AIDs organisation or community theatre group, a third to an aids charity and a third to a kids charity?

I was wondering about the possibility about us maybe making a donation in his name to a school or organization in Brooklyn, where Heath chose to settle with his new family (and to where most of us believe he would have returned). I have no specific ideas, it's just a thought.

Hi guys

Haven't been here in a while.  Lo and behold, ya'll are doing something for the Ledgers, which I have so been wanting to do.  I'm real late though.  I guess I can still donate, right?

BTW you've prob'ly already talked about cards etc, but: I have an address for Heath's Australian publicist.  Theresa Shell says Ms Brown (the publicist) is in touch with the Ledgers, and that cards etc sent to Ms brown  will get to the Ledgers.  I don't know though -- do you think the ledgers will feel they have to read them all?  much less reply?  Quite a bit of work.  But Theresa thought a card was fine, so think I'll send one.
