Is there anything interesting up there in heaven?

Friends, I have ordered flowers for Heath to be delivered on his birthday.  8)

Thanks to the information that Kerry so helpfully supplied, I sent an arrangement to Karrakatta Cemetery via Interflora.  I looked at lots of arrangements on their website and finally settled on one that had 24 roses (I liked the association with "Coming through on the 24th") in cheerful colors.  I thought roses would be nice, especially since Matilda's middle name is Rose.  The arrangement is titled "Caress" and is $131.55 Australian.

A sensational basket of 24 mixed roses interspersed with green ivy and draped in ribbon.

The message I asked to be put on the card reads:

We're keeping you in our thoughts, Heath, as we celebrate your life and work on your birthday.
With much love and gratitude, your Friends at BetterMost.net.

We've had so many polls lately, I thought it would be best just to make a straighforward choice that I felt honored our feelings for Heath.  I hope this meets with your approval!  :-*

Oh, I almost forgot about this.  Meryl, I am glad you post this now, just in time ...

Meryl, thank you so much for all the works you have done on this matter.  My deepest thanks to you.

This ain't no little thing you're doin here... Thank you so much Meryl  :-*. I'm very happy (even if happy is not exactly the right word) you got this done in time for all of us.

I'm doing alright, I really do. But your words on the card made me cry again.  :'(

Edited later: I also love the 24 roses; and the arrangement looks beautiful.

I was sitting on the train this morning thinking about this and reminding myself to check the thread, and there it is, Meryl's message! It's beautiful, Meryl, thank you for doing this!  :-*

Crying a little now, though.... it's all so real now...

Meryl -  this is just AWESOME

Your choice looks absolutely beautiful

It is the colors Heath loves

and the whole thinking you have put into it is wonderful:
the roses because of Matilda, Heath's greatest joy
24 because of the Reunion, Ennis's most joyful moment

Besides, ivy is an evergreen - always alive

Reunion, Caress - we wish, we wish

As for the words on the card... you could not have chosen better

Thank you so much, dear Friend

What a great choice!
Thank you Meryl!
I think it's beautiful, I hope his family sees them.
