Thanks, Amanda!  :-*

Look what our own mouk did today!  She is based in Alberta now, and today she placed flowers at Campsite #2 (the Dozy Embrace), which is in Spray Valley Provincial Park near Canmore.  You can see the Pole Bridge in the background.  How beautiful to see them there.

Look--I found one--

Bottle Brush (attractive Australian native shrub)

Seems a bit like Heath--and Ennis!--doesn't it?

Sigh.

Beautiful.  :)

Awesome and amazing.  I wish there was some way to let the wider world know that this beautiful memorial has been started out in Alberta.  It's such a beautiful gesture.

What a beautiful and sweet thing to do for Heath! :)

Just a reminder to everyone making contributions:  Send them to my account, not the BetterMost account that you see on the right side of the page.

My account is [email protected].

I'm depending on my Perth-based friend to find out the details of the service arrangements, as far as that is possible.  She can call around and find out which florists are sending the flowers to the family.  Also, she works for a newspaper, though not the one we're putting the notice in.  She will know best how to take care of the placement and timing of the notice, I think.

You are amazing, Meryl. I will edit my initial post to add the interim score of the donations....

For newbies on this thread: For general information about how we are sending flowers and condolences, go to the very first post of this thread.....

I would like the notice to be as big as possible, and I would be more than happy to donate more if required.  I just want to make sure that the Ledger's don't miss our notice-I want them to know how much Heath meant to us, and see the beautiful picture that will accompany the notice.

John,

I just wanted to say how lovely it is to see you here - Jenny and Meryl have ofcourse given us updates since you took ill back almost 2 years ago, & you have been on yourself intermittently and I know its hard for you to write and read on the computer. I guess thats testament to how much you think of heath and us that you are here just now. I just wanted to say again how good it is to see ya bud.  :-*

I've just sent through my donation, Meryl.

Interflora, here in Australia, do a beautiful big display of Australian native flowers in a lovely wicker basket for about $100 + $20 delivery. We often send this arrangement where I work for staff birthdays, farewells, etc., and it's always well received. I thought Australian native flowers might be appropriate for our Heath.

Oh, that sounds wonderful--but I am sure whatever Meryl & Co. come up with, it will be perfect. It is obvious we have pros on the job! Thank you for all of this...
