Here is another item which puzzles me.

Had it so long that I do not remember anything about it, and therefore, need your help.

One 10 1/2 inches incised around pattern 2 Blueberries brown leaves and stem on green backgound vase.

I never saw one like it! Maybe, it's unique??

Is is American made naybe? Or? It could be that someone will know the artist or the compagny??

What do you think about it?

Awaiting your news,

hugs!

Artiste, quite often ceramics will have a stamp or incision on the base of the piece indicating where it was made. Sometimes it is just a number, or a number and a few letters. But often times an antique dealer can make sense of them and tell you a bit more about it. I collect Hummels. Unfortunately I only have about 12 of them, but each is stamped with "Goebel" (the company in Germany which manufactures them) which is a stylized trademark the Goebel company changes from time to time (this helps the owner determine the age of the piece), a mold number like "42/A" and also the artist's initials. :)

Thanks!

I had West German Goebels too! I don't know if any left!

No such sign or marks on that vase!

Maybe someone knows as to the shape and/or colours or design of the pattern of that vase???

Hugs!

Just foud these soldiers!

Top line are ones marked Made in USA!!

But have no idea as to age... except flag looks old if you look at the paints!! ??

Which company maybe made these??

I lived at many places in the USA and love the USA which helped me creating many exhibitions of my paintings I created there!! If I find that these soldiers are valuable, I will seek to sell them and give the money to a soldier who wants, instead of living on the streets, wants to live indoors and be safe!! (Nearly half of persons living in the streets in the USA are former American, unfortunately.)

Any ideas as to these soldiers toys??

Hugs!!

Thanks!

I did take a former American soldier off the street once... and I know that he liked living with me for many months until he went on his own again! Have you read about that?

For now, must find out about these toy soldiers...
how?

Hugs!

What do these soldiers look like Artiste? Are they toy tin soldiers? Those antique tin soldiers are quite valuable I do believe.

And thank you for looking after our soldiers and caring about them Artiste! :-*

I can't tell for sure Artiste. But it appears the stars in the flag are in even lines, not alternating like our current flag. So, this would mean the toy soldiers are from the 1950's or earlier. At least 50 years old. If not more.

But I can't really see the stars very clearly.
