Here I am quietly minding my own business,half watching Paua Dean on food network.The whole show is on cowboys and cooking!!!
There are bull riding cowboys,cowboy singers,and cooking cowboys, no beans though!!!!
Theres even one with the big belt buckle like Jack had.
I am starting to feel my whole life is revolving round BBM moments.
Think I am going to crawl in a hole somewhere and come out when I am sane again
Does this happen to anyone else?

Last week for example, we had MacDonald's for lunch. Lately they have small pictures/icons on the boxes with the burgers. Trumpet player, cyclist, whatever. Guess who of our family had a cowboy on her box?

No escape whatsoever...the Brokeback culture and vocabulary are so ingrained in my thought processes.  A few weeks back, I had colored my hair and wasn't particularly pleased with the results -  my thought...next time I need to let a professional 'do the job.'

Was watching a truly mindless programme on t.v today,called dinner takes all.The host/hostess provides entertainment at a dinner party they hold.In this instance the entertainment was poker,the prize was a dvd,the one chosen out of a selection of 4 or 5 .Yep you guessed it BBM.the winner asked what it was about,and was informed its about 2 cowboys who fall in love.
True but talk about reducing a masterpiece of cinematic genius down to bare essentials.
No esacape!!!!!!

On Monday because I was going out to the cinema with a friend straight from work but I'd forgotten to take something to work with me to eat before we went, when one of my colleagues went into town at lunch time I asked her to get me a pasty from the bakers. We've got a microwave in the office, so I could heat it up before I went.

I'd asked her to get me a corned beef pasty, but apparently they've stopped making them  (a pity, because they were really popular), so what did she bring me instead? Yup, beans! Well more precisely a beans and cheese pasty (surprisingly very tasty). Of course my response was "I guess it's too early in the year to be sick of beans..."

Come 5 o'clock and I heated up my pasty, I went rummaging in my desk drawers for a fork (I keep alsorts in my drawers, including a camping (camping --> tent --> BBM) set of a knife, fork and spoon that fasten together) and what else did I find lurking in the bottom drawer that I'd forgotten was even there and I'm sure must be past their use-by dates?  Yep! Damned boxes of SOUP!!!!

True that as my youngest son always says.Talk about only skimming the surface of BBM. The guy who described the film was very gay and yet still seemed to have missed the point of the whole film.
What hope.I think whatever your proclivity you have to be of a certain mindset to "get" the film.

Yes openess I agree
Top flowers are Jack,they seem much more open to me.The bottom Ennis,much more closed bud,tighter appearance.
Thats my thoughts anyway.Also top flowers lighter brighter colour,bottom is deeper colour.So light and bright for Jack,deep for Ennis

Yesterday, after I got back from my recent trip and have now started settling down into some sort of normality again, I've been getting up to speed on my forum and catching up on stuff I've neglected there with the recent craziness. Forum members have been posting their photos of the trip, and one asked me if we'll be repeating the trip again next year....my response....
