Think I am going to crawl in a hole somewhere and come out when I am sane again

On Monday because I was going out to the cinema with a friend straight from work but I'd forgotten to take something to work with me to eat before we went, when one of my colleagues went into town at lunch time I asked her to get me a pasty from the bakers. We've got a microwave in the office, so I could heat it up before I went.
I'd asked her to get me a corned beef pasty, but apparently they've stopped making them
(a pity, because they were really popular), so what did she bring me instead? Yup, beans! Well more precisely a beans and cheese pasty (surprisingly very tasty). Of course my response was "I guess it's too early in the year to be sick of beans..."
Come 5 o'clock and I heated up my pasty, I went rummaging in my desk drawers for a fork (I keep alsorts in my drawers, including a camping (camping --> tent --> BBM) set of a knife, fork and spoon that fasten together) and what else did I find lurking in the bottom drawer that I'd forgotten was even there and I'm sure must be past their use-by dates? Yep! Damned boxes of SOUP!!!!
