Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect.

It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfection

OMG No, not on your f'in life! . I'm not shy, but I would never ever do this.

Nipith:
Just read on another thread about your holidays. You'll be leaving the exact day when I'll be back, so I want to wish you a good time now: Have a wonderful and exciting trip! Enjoy every minute of it, stay safe and report us when you'll be back.

The person below me has a double swing in their garden/backyard, just like the one Ennis's girls had (we do, and it's squeaking right now, needs some oil).

Not scared of dogs.  If I love dogs at all, it's the big, tough sort of working-dog dogs.  But I do definitely prefer them to be outside.

The person below me starts every day with meditation/silence/contemplation.
"Vice, Virtue. It's best not to be too moral. You cheat yourself out of too much life. Aim above morality. If you apply that to life, then you're bound to live life fully." (Harold & Maude - 1971)

I haven't got round to doing this on a daily basis yet, but I start the day with a look at my messages, which usually lead to these boards. And to me, it is like meditative silence: there are no voices here to be heard, but plenty to meditate upon, especially if there is a new message to Yaadpyar's very short stories!

The person below me thinks there is some (or a lot of) truth in astrology.

Sometimes. I am quite sinical about the whole thing thought so I haven't quite decided what I think yet.

The person below me has been to a local event today...and enjoyed it!

Not yet, but later today. We have free concerts in a park in town, and a bunch of my friends are in that band. Although I might not go if it stays this hot!  :P

The person below me never buys new cars, only used.

Growing up with my jalopy-addict dad I thought it was normal only to buy used cars, and considering the astronomical cost of owning a car it's sure one way of keeping it more palatable, but I bought myself a new car 'cause there weren't any used Prii.  Now there are but good luck finding one!
