Ton'y mad. I would be too, but I stopped watcdhing it last season...kids who never grew up, shooting live ammunition, not knowing what it means to take a life-=-you can only take so much of it. Anyway, Vito was gay, and Tony was trying to protect him, but..he didn't.  Someone killed one of the four assassins, but the other three are stilll roaming...I still can't take anymore. Bob tells me these things.

I'm sorry to say this is not all that off-topic.   :'(

I stopped watching after the first couple of seasons, myself, for the same reasons you did.  I just happened to read about this today.

I really enjoyed that subplot while it lasted.  I was frustrated that Vito even decided to go back and give things another shot, knowing that in all likelihood it would end up that way.  It pisses me off to even think like that - that it was inevitable that he would end up dead because he was gay.  But in a way that's part of what I get out of the show, that the world can be pretty f*cked up, especially when you use violence to get through life.
