BetterMost Changes: Who's Online & Who's Chatting

We have introduced a new "Who's Chatting" list showing who is in the chat room, in addition to our Who's Online list.  The question is, where would you like to see this information.  Right now, it's at the bottom of the forum home page.  Should it be somewhere else to be more useful?

I totally adore the new "who's chatting" feature!  Wonderful. 8)

And, I voted to keep all that information at the bottom.  I'm used to looking for all the practical information and features (like who's online, the calendar, recent posts, etc.) all in one spot down at the bottom.  I also sort of like that to reach that information I have to scroll down the list of all the forums.  It provides a quick, overall snapshot of what's going on at BetterMost at any given moment.

One thing I was wondering about... I've noticed that other similar social and Brokie websites sometimes have a feature near the "who's online" area that lists all the different members who had been online during a full 24 hour period.  Something like "who's been online today."  Has that ever been considered for a feature here at BetterMost?

I think it could be moved to the top - temporarily - cause it's such a new and special feature.

But I agree, it's not as important as, say, the many forums. Even 'recently posted' would be more helpful at the top than to see who's online, but like I say, it's new and should/could easily be promoted by being placed near the top

I like the idea of trying it near the top of the page for awhile - see how we like it!  I always scroll down to see who else is online and sometimes look at the Who's Online to see what threads are interesting that I might have missed.

I voted leave it where it is,simply because I am so used to checking there,to see who's online.It is easier for my age challenged brain cells to cope with.

Heya!  I see you listed there too! Neat-o!  I love this new feature. 8)

I'd come in and chat, but I really don't think I can while I'm here at work (as tempting as chat seems).  I'll be home by 6 pm Eastern and may pop into chat this evening at some point.

Yep, sure enough.  Surfing BetterMost in general is getting to be a major part of my workday routine.  Really, it gets me through the day.  And, amazingly, I still seem to get my work done too.  It's just a matter of switching back and forth between windows a lot. 

I'm worried that my attention span is getting shorter and shorter though.  It's hard to go for very long without a BetterMost fix or check-in.
