Hey there, Friends!

I can think of quite a few people here at BetterMost who have expressed their sentiments surrounding Brokeback Mountain and/or the actors who brought this amazing film to us through tattoos.

It took me awhile to muster the courage for my own tattoo after New Year's this year, but I am really proud to have it.

Let's post pictures of our body art here!

It's just been a little sore today, but not half as bad as I thought it would be. Stung a little in the shower this morning though!

That is just sooo clever. I am to much of a computer dummy to even hazzard a guess at how they do it. Liked it though.

He had it done in Canada at the end of filming BBM. The leaf represented Canada to him.

That's sweet. Mostly when people ask me about mine I just say it's a maple leaf (unless it's someone I know better), which is good because I've always called Canada my "spiritual home". I've got relatives in Vancouver, BC, and all around the Rockies and spent some time there when I was younger. The tattoo guy spotted it was a maple straight off and asked why it was significant...half an hour later he was probably wishing he hadn't asked....

How cool! But I wonder why and Oak leaf instead of a Maple leaf? Anyhow, I love that because I was born in Canada (Montreal), but live in the States now.

I actually think it is sort of a stylized maple leaf, not an oak leaf. That's the way I see it, at least.

Love the Leaf tattoo, I only have one tattoo at the moment and have been thinking about getting another. It's one I can consider.

It is a tattoo of Tweety Pie with a shot gun, and is on my chest. Its not a big tattoo, about 4cm square, and had it done about 10 years ago.

Whenever I go swimming it often draws attention from younger children.......it is quite cute I suppose
