Some years ago, I read in a magazine: You know you're getting old .... when the heroes of your youth become forty.
This was applied to Johnny Depp's fortieth b-day, and I thought OMG, he's forty
already?. LOL. Now I'm forty myself and had the same reaction when I read on imdb that Kevin Bacon is fifty today. Yes, he was one of the heroes of my youth and I had a crush on him.
I read some trivia about him on imdb:
- He's born in Philadelphia (which makes me think of Jeff and Amanda, who are both PA-bound)
- He is together with Kyra Sedgwick for twenty years (which I think is great)
