Oh!? Now I'm very curious of course!  Lots of national costumes around? Big to-do?

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

I never saw this on the stage but we just went to the movie....what a blast! I laughed and laughed. The music is great, the dancing is great, the scenery is GORGEOUS and there are lots of GORGEOUS men leaping around, in and out of the ocean, WET and HOT....this is a must see fun movie!

I STILL haven't seen this movie, and I thought I'd be one of the first to see it.  :-\

I've been talked into going to see The Dark Knight next week with some friends. As a compromise, a few of them have agreed to go to Momma Mia with ME!  :D

the stage show is brilliant - and has a lot of extras that the film does not have.

But the film was just as good - not least because it benefitted from the amazing scenery. And Julie Walters and Meyrl streep were great. I hope at 60 I have a quarter of the moves of Meryl!

I feel like we're all connected
and it's beautiful
and funny
and good.

It received a scathing review in The New Yorker, yet I want to see the movie anyway thanks to your recommendations!

I'm definitely planning on seeing it. I only know a few Abba songs and I've never seen the stage version, but I love musicals. And I've heard a lot about how fun this movie is, both from you guys and other people, so I'm excited to see it!  :)
