has Kerry voted yet?*Looks around for Kerry*
Kerry hasn't logged on yet this morning Jess. At least I don't think so. I haven't seen him yet. What did you think it is Jess? Did you even vote yet? I can't award you with a baby lamb if you don't tell us!
I am waiting for Kerry! I am gonna cheat off his paper!
Well somebody voted and didn't tell us! Somebody voted for "Machine Used to Track Planet Movements in the Solar System" but they didn't tell us who they were! I hope they don't expect to win a lamb! I can't give out lambs to anonymous voters!
Gasp! This is a tough one, David! I'm guessing Shadow Lamp For Simulating Lunar and Solar Eclipses.Fingers crossed, but I'm not feeling very optimistic about winning a lamb this time. What do you think it is, Jess? I'm stumped!
don't try to bluff me!!!that is MY guess too, David!!!
Oh, this is a hard one, David. I don't think I'll be winning a sheep this time! I voted for the sextant, but a lot of the choices seemed possible! Thanks, David!Marie
I will post the answer either later this evening or tomorrow!
Ooooooooooooo, I'm excited to find out what it is!
Yeah......sure dont look like no sun dial to me......
Yeah.....fair dinkum......as another well known Aussie might say.......THATS NOT A SUN DIAL.........THIS IS A SUN DIAL
fair dinkum??see David? You got Sue a-cussin!!
Cussin'? "Fair dinkum" isn't swearing, Jess! In Australia, it's usually used as an exclamation (like "Goodness gracious") and translates as something like "It's the truth."It can also be interpreted as an indication of exasperation, such as, "Fair dinkum, mate, you take the cake," which roughly translates as, "Well, goodness gracious me, my friend, you certainly are a major wanker"
Yeah, thanks Kerry for explaining to Jess......I was just gonna let her think it was cussin, cause to try to describe all the meanings of fair dinkum was too much to go into.Something us Aussies are good at.....using one word to mean many things.
