I don't get:
??? the Marlin on the bench?

I think that's Swordfish.

??? the jacket on the trunk of the palm tree?
I think it's The Jacket, the one with Adrian Brody and Keira Knightley.

??? the tiger?
Part of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

??? that square on the street that looks like a brown and white rubik's cude?
Chocolat? Maybe?
I've learnt that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in!

??? the tiger?

The tiger has a dragon behind him. I read that as Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

??? the knife in the trunk of a palm tree?
??? the thing right below the '100th Newsletter Celebration' banner?

The guy leaning on the tree with the blue shovel - I thought that was Jarhead at first. His head looks jar-shaped to me.
I keep thinking there's a movie called 'A Castle in the Sky' or something, but IMDb says there isn't.

Laputa: Castle in the Sky is a film by Hayao Miyazaki. imdb has the
