Come on everyone! Take a guess! I've already been told I guessed the correct answer. Now let's see if you can do it! :)

Nope! :D

Nevermore is not here yet but I can safely tell you those are not the correct answers. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to tell you any clues, so the only thing I can tell you is *beeeep!* Try Again! ;) ;D

Dont know if I can stay awake till the middle of the nite when  vampire girl Nevermore is usually online ;D

Well, you got "My Own Private Idaho" correct, but not the other one! I asked Nevermore yesterday in a PM and I was told I guessed it correctly. So you may wish to rethink "Drugstore Cowboy" unless I guessed the wrong answer last night. :-\

Sure.

"You sure you know how to use that thing?"

"I saw Gary Cooper in "Sergeant York.""

Apocalypse Now ;D.

Drawing a blank here...The Big Lebowski or kingpin. I got this picture of Jeff Bridges in my head.

Not even close. Jeff Bridges? What a macabre picture, considering that the character who delivered the line was a rather foxy female. Is that enough of a hint for you? All right, here's another one--she was not played by Scott Glenn (in drag).

"You never fuck me and I always have to drive!"

Is from Drugstore Cowboy. SO you are correct, AJ, though using the imdb is cheating, especially since I had a theme going with the Keanu/Van Sant connection, viz:

#1 "All you do is fuck my mother and eat her food. Motherfucker! Food eater!"

#2 "Look, Mike--sandwiches!"

#1 is from River's Edge, Dave got it right away.

#2 is from My Own Private Idaho, so AJ was right though I bet he let his fingers do the walking again.

Sure.

"You sure you know how to use that thing?"

"I saw Gary Cooper in "Sergeant York.""

I'm going to resist the temptation to imdb it---I think this is some 50's sci-fi, so I'm at a disadvantage, though I saw a lot of sci-fi kitsch by osmosis back in film school when I did my workstudy as a projectionist. Um...The Day the Earth Stood Still?

No, but you're sampling the right vintage.
