I'm going to try and cajole my sister to help me post some close-up shots of me in this forum in the near future. It's nice to have my pic up as my avatar, but I realize it's hard to discern my features from that one shot. Try and imagine an Aguirre who adores Jack and Ennis, and you will be in the picture. Well, I was cleaning out my old Favorites listings and came across this ancient site on which I'd saved some photos long ago.

This is me just outside of Banff, Alberta in September of 1998.  Does the mountain range behind me look familiar?    




Here's one of me on my birthday in 19(gah)88 - a whopping 23 years old.  Those were the days...  I was on a sailing cruise with my parents and stepsister in the British Virgin Islands - they had made a coconut replica of me that day - the tin foil is its "helmet" (my stepsister thought my curly hair in all that humidity looked like a helmet and called me Helmet Head the whole trip - nice, huh?)
