** Something threatens to burst my bubble though!
Ms Spanky!!  I need your assistance ASAP!  First of all, I have tried to get the bloody
paparazzis away from the celebrities in the herd, but I need more security!  There have been complaints
from many, especially Mr Resttle Craw here ...**

** Please do something for me pronto, much appreciated!  **

** Don't worry about it. Our security staff are on their way! **  ;D

** In the meantime I've ripped the sheep costumes off them paparazzi folks and given them some extra large drinks. They've already forgotten about their photos, I guess... **  ;)

** As to that coyote, he's out of the competition anyway. As far as I know, the role has been given to someone else. Mr. Raymille has chosen someone better looking, I believe... ** ;D

  • I lost myself to him.
YOUNG JACK:

((Isn't at all used to people staring at him so much, usually he's the gazer. Looks down with a smile and shakes his head, just as they reach the door.))

%% I hope this boy don't look at me that way in front of Mr. Aguirre. Might be a little embarassin'.%%

((hangs back for a moment to regain his composure, letting YOUNG ENNIS go ahead of him))

    • "every sort of organized noise"
Just finished the "cast o characters" "Jack's pants--Melinda; Saliva string--untaken." Gasp...

((With both boys now inside the trailer, a bass-line (in the sense of the snapping) creates an aura of suspense for the much awaited (and even teased) opening musical number.))

AGUIRRE:  ((singing))

When you tend sheep
You tend sheep all the way
From your first lonely night
To your last kay-yo-tey

Ev-er-y night
You will pitch a pup tent
And you'll sleep with the sheep,
Boy, one hunnerd per-cent!

You're always alone
You got your .30-.30
And there's always the river
If your clothes should get dirty!

When you tend sheep
'Case them snoops come on by
You don't build no damn fire
And you don't leave no sign.

((The music is cut-off by the sound of the phone ringing.  An awkward pause fills the trailer as Aguirre reaches over and picks up the phone.  He listens as his face grows red.))

AGUIRRE:

No!  No!  Not on your muckin' life!

((Aguirre sets down the phone and the music immediately comes back in ready for Aguirre to do his big close!))

AGUIRRE:  ((singing))

It's gonna get cold!
And you won't get much sleep!
But we'll sure as heck make wool blankets
Outta all'a dem sheep!

OUTTA...
ALL'A...
DEM MUCKIN'...
SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP......
Yeah!

((Aguirre sits down in his chair and lights a cigarette.  He picks up the phone and pauses as Young Jack and Young Ennis just stand there.))

**Special Note:  Thanks to Jenny (newyearsday) who acted as a co-writer on the musical number.  I, of course, came up with the original verses seen earlier which she used as inspiration to compose the rest of the song (with the exception of a few additions that I made).  Thanks Jenny!**

YOUNG JACK:

((puts his hands on his hips during the rendition, looking on in disapproval.))
((dumbfounded by the musical rendiition of work instructions, he can only stand there and nod, unsuspecting.))

Umm, OK.

%% That was downright horrible. Don't ever go into showbiz, Mr. Aguirre! %%

**If not for ill harmony in small space
Jack might have found more time
To examine with scrutiny and grace
The state of Ennis' form, now sublime.

But as it was distracting,
to hear such horrendous tone.
He found himself lacking
and grateful for that phone.**

(( The FSD hurries into her ceremonial robes, lighting insence as she goes, to bless and encourage the powerful chi spilling all over Aguirre's trailer.  Shoot - with Jack & Ennis both here, the place is swimming in chi...  ))

(( Now, the stranger Aguirre hung up on is still on the line, mad, furious, sad ...trying to call him back ))
