DIRECTOR:

((JakeTwist's head snaps around so quickly she gets a crick in her neck))

**Owww!**

%%Now what?!  I hope it is one of our farkeen actors finally turning up to do their scene...  they have been lollygagging for weeks now!!%%

((Sees the smartly tailored Young Miss jump back suddenly as she flings the trailer door open much too quickly.))

**Yes, may I help you?  How did you get by security?**

[Daniel]

LAUREL SPARTA:

**I sign their paychecks.... I also sign yours. I'm the Producer's assistant.**

((Laurel crosses herself and looks up in the sky for a moment.))

**He wants to know why everything's slowed down recently.... We need to talk.**

((Laurel nods her head towards the director's office.))

[Daniel]

YOUNG JACK:

((Driving like a maniac, almost crashes into the director's trailer. He hops out.))

**Where the hell is the post office on the other set.... how the heck am I s'pposed ta mail a postcard without a post office? I gotta drive all the way up here to Riverton just ta mail a postcard?**

((Notices Laurel and the new director Jane talking at her door. Lifts his hat.))

**Oh, howdy, Ma'am.**

[Daniel]

LAUREL SPARTA:

((Laurel nods back to the attractive cowboy.))

**You must be one of our actors... Why has everything slowed down so much?**

[Daniel]

YOUNG JACK:

((reaches up and scratches his head.))

**Yeah,... um, about that. We were waitin' fer a weddin'... Guy (he's our Marketing Advisor), and Lucise (he's the sheeptrainer)... They met 'n took a liking a eachother. We're jest waitin' fer 'em ta get hitched, er whatever it is they're doin'. Then we can get on with the show.**

((The director's door slowly closes, Jane retreating back into the trailer.))

((Taking the clue, Jack moves forward a bit, planning to distract the production assistant for as long as he can.))

**But noone's seen er heard of 'em since the other day. Lucise was doin' somethin' with a band, an' Guy, he left the office, last I heard, was headin' back to their trailer.... They're probly still there.**

[Daniel]

LAUREL SPARTA:

((nods))

**Guy Raphaelson I know. I had the priveledge of meeting him with some sponsors at our Un Ltd marketing session. But I had found him very accountable and almost impossible to jar from his schedule. I had not realized that he was so interested in pursuing such nonsense.**

((Laurel pauses.))

**Lucise I know little about.** ((flips open a binder)) **Lucise Indapaddock? Yes, chosen by the direction team and we signed off on it.**

((sighs))

**Well go and get them... If they're having a wedding we need to get it over with and back to the storyline!!!**

[Daniel]

YOUNG JACK:

((uncertain why the production assistant would want to know about Guy's counting, Jack nods and gets back in the car.))

((leaning out the window)) **I'll see if I can dredge 'em up.**

((Jack backs away from the trailer at an unsafe speed and quickly zips through the set to Lucise's trailer. He gets out of the car and approaches the door.))

** Lucise, Guy? You in there? **

LUCISE I:

((Hearing voices at the door, Lucise gets out of bed, grumbling .. He goes to the door to see who it is...))



** Hey Jack!  What's up? 
You wanna talk to Guy or ..?  Coz he's in the bath right now .. if you need to talk to him,  come back in two and a half hours.  If it is urgent, come back in an hour or so..  I'm sure he'll be done then.. ok?  **

LUCISE I:
