MIKA THE MUSICAL DUMBASS MULE:(( Contemplating MONROE'S loud squeals of joy ))
** Well, it's good to hear that
someone is happy.**
(( Sighs ))
** I, on the other hand, have come full circle. Here I am, once more hauling heavy supplies out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by milling sheep. Oh, woe betide! **
** It's all the fault of those stupid silly jukeboxes! I had a very nice job
braying crooning singing at this nice but modest little cafe place in Riverton, favoured by the tattoo crowd especially, - but I got laid off. Jukeboxes were all the rage. What they all craved. Those tunes! Dancing Matilda... Walzing Mellissa.... or some such. Yep. So I got laid off.
Nothing to do for me but get back in the mountain transport business. **
(( wails ))
And this time, the cowboys aren't even cute!! (( Shakes head ))
But do you all know what the worst irony of all is?(( Pauses for greater impact ))
These here heavy packs I'm hauling uphill are full of nothing but..... (( Starts
braying singing a slow, dirge-like tune ))
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen.....
