I think one should baby proof the house once they bring the infant home. It can't hurt, right?

I always get these answers wrong though so it's proably something else.

that may be the answer...I can see where you could wait too long...babies can go from sitting there to crawling before you know what is happening...

I figured if you did it after you brought the baby home then you wouldn't forget to do it. That was my logic. And I figured it couldn't hurt to go ahead and do it.

no I can see that....but the thing with that is, you always start OFF being real careful but as time goes by you forget...cause it isnt' really essential yet. You uncover the outlets to use them and leave them uncovered, you take the locks off the cabinet and forget it...the baby isn't gonna get into them..

but if you wait until the baby is actually crawling, you are much more aware of putting things up and covering stuff..
